Success: A Mere Illusion

Whenever there is silence,
I feel myself alienated!
Not wanting to parch away from the veracity,
I speak to myself!
I speak to myself!
I tell a thousand lies,
To keep my spirit alive;
But alas, it dies!
Lies are mere illusions
Of fear, anxiety, awkwardness, melancholy
And unbiased trauma!
Extreme isolation is what I feel after deceit;
Oh please, could you not repeat!
That extraneous phrase, “You are not worth any praise”!
I think about the public!
I think about the people!
I think about you!
And I think about myself!
People object when I think about myself!
People object when I try to motivate myself!
People pull me down,
When I try to move forward.
People, people and only people!
Have guided my life and all the warbles,
That have ever happened to me and my crux!
Wait! Let me take a second.
To breathe and listen;
To the euphonious melodies of the seemingly cruel birds;
To the TICK-TOCK, TICK-TOCK, CLIP-KNOCK, CLIP-KNOCK
Of pens and clocks!
Wait! Just wait for a fraction of a second.
I heard something.
Yes, I heard something;
I heard my crux,
The flux of the positive field lines;
Like Magnetic field lines,
Not less than any shrine!
Yes, I like science.
I like luminosity, gravity and theory of relativity!
But wait!
Let me breathe the aroma of the vines!
Let me observe the bent spines!
I don’t know what have I done so far in life!
Other than cutting an apple with a knife!
No more insults, complaints and criticism shall I bear.
Nor will I pick up a glass of beer!
I have seen a charming truth,
That is prudential and has immeasurably little space!
Neither success, trophies or the well written prose!
Nor the meaningless shout out can occupy it!
Only love and peace can fill it!
Pure love, and pure peace;
With no trills and shrills!
We are living in a world where our lives are lit up by ideologies.
Of narrow minded and niggling anthologies!
We run after success!
We mourn for success!
We outshine for success!
We pray for success!
We stay calm and patient for success!
We fight and laugh for success!
We shiver and lie for success!
We live and die for success!
Do you know what success is?
Success is a complex form of silent death!
Success is just a mere illusion, my dear;
Wake up,
Or you’ll end up living a life of illusions!
