OVER POPULATION: MY WORRY AS A NIGERIAN.

Lagos State, Nigeria, where i'm based, is really becoming something else. Overpopulation is on the rise and it's worrisome.

Everywhere is filled up with people. There's a rush for every thing. Every bus stop is crowded. There's traffic on almost every major road. Everyone is discomfit. We hardly even have sufficient resources to allot to everyone.

Yet, people are still birthing carelessly. Someone right now is about to give birth to a 7th child, in a one room apartment. I'm not concerned about the one room apartment, because not all fingers are equal; I'm more concerned about the desire to have 7 kids. Like, what the hell are you bringing 7 children into this world to do, in 2017?

A child is a product of two adult's decision, not his or hers. It's only necessary you have nothing but the best to offer a child, before birthing one. We can't offer upcoming generations any good, in an overpopulated society.

After having two kids, opt for an adoption if you've got so much love for kids, and still want more. Most importantly, go get you a contraceptive if you want to keep having sex.
