Another version of this beautiful red flower called Hibiscus rosa-sinensis which is known colloquially as Chinese hibiscus, Hawaiian hibiscus, China rose, rose mallow & shoeblackplant which is a species of tropical hibiscus, a flowering plant in the Hibisceae tribe of the Malvaceae family.
The Hibiscus leaves are alternate, ovate to lanceolate, usually with a toothed or lobed margin.
The Hibiscus flowers are large red, conspicuous, trumpet-shaped, with five or more petals, color ranging from white to pink, red, orange, peach, yellow or purple.
