The Graptophyllum pictum, also known as the caricature-plant which is a shrub in the family of Acanthaceae.
It’s native to New Guinea & also a well known garden shrub around the globe.
There are two known varieties ranging from the variegated color that’s known as 'white adulsa', & is used combined with coconut water to reduce swelling.
Its used as folklore medicine for enhancing fertility, poultice on cuts, wounds & all kinds of swellings & the treatment of ulcers, abscesses, hemorrhoids & constipation.
