It’s native to Madagascar & fully naturalized in the Andaman.
This Palm plant is commonly grown in the garden plots basically for landscaping purpose & also in the flower pots as an ornamental Palm plant because of its beautiful shrubs, long & curved foliar with beautiful yellowish-green attractive leaves.
