Cycas Revoluta Gymnosperm
The Cycas revoluta is a species of gymnosperm in the family of Cycadaceae, it’s native to southern Japan including the Ryukyu Islands.
It’s one of several species that’s used for the production of the sago, as well as an ornamental plant.
The known sago cycad can be distinguished normally by a thick coat of fibers on its trunk.
