Aspidistra elatior is also known as the cast-iron-plant or bar-room plant, it’s also known in Japanese as haran or baran which is a species of flowering plant in the family of Asparagaceae, it’s native to Japan & Taiwan.
Its roots, stems & leaves are febrifuge, styptic & tonic. They strengthens bones & muscles. Basically, a decoction of its root, stems or leaves which is used in the treatment of some abdominal cramps, amenorrhoea, traumatic injuries, diarrhoea, myalgia $ urinary stones
