Areca Palm 🌱
Areca palm is also known as golden cane palm, yellow palm, or butterfly palm which is a species of flowering plant in the family of Arecaceae, native to Madagascar & naturalized in the Andaman.
The leaves are outstanding, long, pinnate, with numerous, crowded cool leaflets. The leaves have smooth, sometimes golden trunks that are reminiscent of the bamboo clumps, fronds are narrow & full, almost like the bamboo leaves. If grown outdoors, they are often used as a privacy screen. They are also grown as indoor plant & commonly as houseplants.
