I have a dream!
Isn't it said that dreams do comes true? Oh yeah, it does and I have witness few of them in my life during these few years on planet earth.
However, I am also aware that there are some dreams that needs to go through some though road before it comes to fulfillment.
But then, I have a dream that one day, Steem solar would have it's own customize solar products that would be use around the globe for solar installation.
It is undoubtedly true that in this digital economy, sustainable energy is no longer an option, it is a dire necessity.
Good News is that my business is exactly at the forefront of this global yet interesting transition of our time.
Over the years I have dedicated my time, resources and career into ensuring and promoting a sustainable renewable energy and of course that birthed “Steem solar and electricals”.
As the CEO/MD of Steem solar and electricals located at no 165 nwaniba road uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, If my business is privileged to receive a $25,000 award, this would significantly enhance my ability to expand my solar and electrical business to a greater level, there will be an increased community access to solar energy, and most interestingly a greener future.
It is pertinent that before I move further, I should briefly intimate fellow Steemians on the core focus of “Steem solar and electricals”
Quality products: I sincerely desire to offer the best of products to each customer patronizing my business. I want to give them value for their money.
And so giving out the best solar products and electricals are key consideration in my business
Expert installation: While patronizing my goods, I desire to ensure smooth, expert and professional installation services to clients
Customer Education: It is crucial that I educate each customer on the knowledge of better solar options as well as maximizing thier solar investment
Impact of the Award of $25000 in my business
A $25,000 award invested into my business, will help me achieve some key objectives in which I'll take time to explain, also the long term benefits of this money in my business to the community at large.
Increase inventory:
I will use part of the money received to purchase high quality solar panels, inverters, batteries and other equipment used in solar installation as well as electrical appliances and equipment. I have spoken with a reputable solar panel and battery manufacturing industry from India as I'm writing this article.
The deal is that if I get it in bulk, I'd get it at a good discounted rate.
But I do not have the funding to purchase in bulk, I'd use part of this $25,000 to purchase these quality items from this company.
Another interesting thing about this company is that, with good funding I'll have a customized solar panel, battery and inverter. So we could have something like "Steem solar battery", Steem solar inverter,Steem solar panels.
Imagine that a solar panel, battery and inverter sold out or installed for a client is imprinted with “steem solar ”. That's make sense right...?😀
You will not just want to do business with us, you will tell someone to tell someone to tell another person about our brand. But this can only be possible with goods funds which I do not have. And this money will go a long way to help me in this area.
Hire additional staff:
It is a certainty that my business will grow with a rising number of installation projects. And with this,I will need to employ skilled technicians to work with in upcoming projects and I need funding for this as well.
Workshop and seminars:
A lot of communities are not aware of the idea of renewable energy and so with this funding, I'll conduct a free educational workshop to educate the community on the advantages and benefits of this sustainable renewable energy. I'll also show them basic ways to successfully carry out solar installation.
This workshop will cost a good amount of money as I will need to get equipment for the workshop, pay for the venue, refreshments, transportation and even pay other skilled technicians I'd be going along with.
Charity school programs*
Currently, I have installed solar absolutely free in about 5 different places including schools in Nigeria.
And all these was sponsored through Steem. Developing Steem solar brand to start manufacturing their own customize solar products could be a very neat and clean innovation.
Could you imagine running "Steem lighting Africa" projects using Steem solar customize components like battery, inverter, panels and charge controllers....😀
Most of these schools have little or no access to quality education due to a basic issue such as electricity.
With this funding, I'll continue to do more of this charity in various schools across the country and beyond. I am looking at introducing this charity solar installation to other African countries around so they benefits from our Steem lighting Africa project.
When students at a young age are exposed to such technology as renewable energy, I believe it will foster their interest and would want to invest more in it as they grow up.
It will also aid their learning process and of course sharpen their skills because while installing I'll take some time to explain parts and components to this young ones.
But then again..., these are just mere dreams, do you want this to happen..., do you believe in my dreams? Just know that I am not backing down untill I get to that point.
These are my dreams, these are my visions , I like sustainability and if I had $25,000 , this is what I would use it for.

It seems like an excellent business to me, however, it must not be easy (although nothing is easy in this life) to start this type of project from scratch.
Maybe you can start thinking about the raw materials, labor and equipment necessary to produce the solar panels, in this way you will be honest with your idea and see how possible it is to fulfill it.

Ofcourse before projects like this becomes a reality, it could go through some tough times....however, it can still be actualize.
Good point..., but for a start, I was planning of collaborating with the production company, they would brand it for me...., they already have all these equipment in stock. It won't be produce in Nigeria.
But even with that..., yeah, I still need to know the cost of those materials, though I won't produce it here.
That means, I am paying for the production, services and branding.
I hope one day you can fulfill your dream. You are doing a good job.
