Loft - one of the most paradoxical styles, combining the bohemian and underground. In the loft style, the colors of cold shades (metallic, blue) are usually used.
The origin of the loft occurred in the large industrial cities of the USA In the 40's - 50's of the twentieth century. When prices for land rent in the city center increased several times, industrialists began to transfer their production shops outside the city or on its outskirts. Many factory and factory premises were emptied. The owners sold them for pennies.
New owners of huge premises began to lease them as housing for poor citizens. Hastily furnished accommodation with an equipped kitchen and bathroom did not have walls and partitions, dazzled with signs of past application, and looked rather peculiar.
