Babylon Inside
Lord
I'm prayin'
I'm prayin' not for the world
Prayin' not for mankind
Prayin' not for family
Just prayin' for my own wrecked soul
Lord
I'm laughing
I'm laughin' not at this life
Laughin' not at streetfight
Laughin' not at honeymoon
Just laughing at my own wrecked soul
Lord!
I'm shouting!
I'm shouting against the death
Shouting against the war
Shouting against TV news
And shouting 'gainst your wrecked hand!
Lord?
D'you hear me?
D'you hear my unthrown words?
Hear my fear, my cry for help?
Hear my pain, my bow for love?
Just hear me and my old wrecked soul

Also , na , und warum shoutet !der , der nicht Du bist , gegen die fremde Hand und nicht wieder gegen die eigene Seele die verwrackte, vertrackte ??
Das macht das Ding als Songtext schonmal unbrauchbar , höhö .

Your old wrecked soul... I know you better ;-))
As you should / could / would have known, the ME of a lyric is not in any case the MYSELF of my biography.
In this case, the speaking person is a man who told me of his wrecked soul, and the next day (or maybe a few days later), I found myself dedicating him these lines.
Ich dachte, 2014 kanntest Du Teufelchen noch nicht ;-))
Ist doch längst korrigiert?
Ah...
Das ist nicht "Teufelchen".
