Healthier comfort food
Last night I had a craving for burgers! I knew I shouldn’t be have gone off of my diet with the Mexican...it just fuels my cravings for other decadent foods that might not be the best for me!
I racked my mind and decided on a healthier variation of burger...a turkey burger!
Turkey burgers can have a bit of a gamer flavor...this can be avoided by getting ground turkey with a low fat content...it’s also better for you!
I added :
- bread crumbs
- egg
- worchester sauce
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- smokehouse seasoning blend
- 1 squirt bbq sauce
I blended all the ingredients and formed the patties.
I then topped them with delicious avocado, onions, tomato and ketchup!
They were fantastic and just what I needed to keep the cravings at bay!
We have a lovely little festival and some cinco de mayo festivities planned for today!!! I’m excited for this beautiful weekend!

glorious Healthier food
I have to admit...it wasn’t as good as ground beef...but I can get used to it! It was still yummy!
