B&W Photo Contest - Animals - Entry #1 - Looking Up

I have to be honest, I have posted this photo in colour in my previous post. I saw this week's theme and thought I'd play around with the photo a bit and see how it would look like in black & white, and it turned out to be better than the coloured version, which was a very pleasant surprise. I hope this isn't breaking the rules.

It's very rare to see her quiet like this. She was just staring at the window and looked very concentrated and curious. There was no extra lighting aside from the natural light from the windows.

I absolutely love how this turned out.

Camera used: Canon 7D w/ 50mm f1.8
