"Getting Comfortable"
It is sometimes hard to get rest when you are traveling long distances; but I have learned to make do.
This might have been created on a long transit from California to Maine. I would sleep on the couch, then explore a new place every day. It was fun, but to often I ended up in a book store reading Harry Potter.
I went to Santa Cruz and stayed in a trailer under redwoods, A wolf sanctuary in Arizona, a hostel in Denver, a run down hotel in Chicago, and an activists floor in New York, before heading to visit my father in Maine.
I do not remember if I sketched this on a bus or train; I have been on both so many times I forget. I later added acrylic paint, gell medium and tissue paper.
When you add fun to traveling, your mind has a funny way of getting settled. Just looking at your mode of travel, coping can be hard. Thanks for the insight.
great
I would love to travel like that... but i don't think my wife would...haha.
I wanted to say thanks for your other post about getting #art on to Steemit I recently joined Patreon, but i m quickly realising that steemit might actually be the way to go.
I have just recently started to actively move my love for art-making to a new level and hope to be able to do it a lot more...and maybe make some money in the process. 😁
Cheers!
Thank you. Steemit and Instagram are my go to sites for promoting my art these days. The power of tags should never be underestimated.
