No amount of riches can make a man comfortable if he is not contented with what he has. Appreciating and utilizing what you have is a great source of economic empowerment. If you value what you have and guard it jealously, you will not drift into prodigality. Any prosperity that is soaked in blood is doomed. There are some businessmen who commit ritual murders in order to enhance their finances. Some years ago a hotelier in the Eastern part of Nigeria was arraigned on murder charges. He and his associates were found guilty of murdering an eleven year old boy whose headless body was exhumed from his hotel premises. They were subsequently executed. There is great pleasure in being rich but being not contented must be avoided. The get rich quick mania that drives youths into prostitution, cultism, armed robbery, internet fraud and illegal immigration must be dealt with and excised from our society and the world. Contentment is gold mine.
