Salutations in Nigeria: Regional perspective
Introduction
It is imperative in this era of globalization to view different countries in terms of their tribes, culture, way of life, and many more.
Nigeria is a country blessed with many tribes and languages. Herein lies OUR strength.
One of the regions of Nigeria of wide interest is the south western states.[1]. The major spoken language in this region is Yoruba [2]
I will like to intimate and remind my dear steemians of some ways to be respectful and salute people of different positions, situations and professions in the south western part of Nigeria.
The language used in this region is Yorùbá. I will write the word of salutation in Yorùbá language and translate it to English language.
