TEKNOFEST ISTANBUL Aerospace and Technology Festival
Along with the development of technology, aviation fairs all over the world have an important place in the history of aviation with thousands of aircraft, flight show and participant that they host. They also have a strategic purpose in terms of promoting global trade, developing aviation technologies and bringing industry together, as well as promoting and popularizing aviation. These organizations, which we describe as aviation fair, are the air show today known as Airshow. It is considered that the first international show of the aviation history that the Wright brothers took off in 1903 was the Reims Aviation Meeting organized by France in 1909 near Reims, near Paris, followed by almost 500,000 people. In the international aviation fairs organized today, the focus is on trade, rather than on aviation shows. Therefore, the Airshow part of the business is only referred to as the advertising chapter that accelerates the sale. The most important issue in aviation fairs held every year in many countries around the world is million dollar plane orders and the commercial success of the fairs is accepted to the extent that they are hosted by these sales and they are shaped by the strength and the number of participants. Aviation fairs are quite colorful in the competitive countries where the aerospace industry is strong, design and production capabilities are high, and the number of participants is above the industry average.
TEKNOFEST ISTANBUL, which will be held in Istanbul from September 20 to September 23, 2018, provides awareness to the general public in the fields of aviation, space and technology.
