Ebru Gündeş, who came to the world on October 12, 1974, is originally from Gaziantep. Ebru Gündeş's first album published in 1993, and at that time she worked as a garment worker for a while.
After she met Neşe Demirkat, she was a vocalist for Emel Sayın who made important changes in her life.
In 1994 she published the second album, Tatli Bela, to the market. She received for her second album in 1995 at the 1st Kral TV Video Music Awards the 'Best Female TSM Artist' award.
In 2010 Ebru Gündeş, who married the Iranian Azerbaijani businessman Riza Sarraf, has a daughter named Alara.
