Turkish artists - Şeker Ahmet Paşa (1841 – 1907) - Narlar ve Ayvalar (Pomegranates and Quinces)
From the geometric point of view, the arrangement of quince and pomegranate in the sep- aration is the most striking feature of the composition of each other. Moreover, the realistic stance of the image is important in harmony with the colors. The color richness in the paintings of Şeker Ahmet Pasha, the anxiety of giving reality in the nature, brought him a style that we can call nature lyrical.
Seker Ahmet Pasa was the first Turkish painter to be considered official when he was alive at the Louvre Museum in Paris. There is a different perception of perspective in his paintings. More known with still life paintings.
Very good. I like his other pictures too.
Especially "Çoban köpekli peyzaj" is wonderfull.
