His life
He was born in Thessaloniki on January 15, 1902, graduated from Heybeliada Naval Academy and was appointed as a deck officer to the Hamidiye Cruiser. Once the disease was recovered, he was removed from the army with a health board report. After being removed from military service, he moved to Anatolia to join the National Struggle. However, during his years as a teacher in Bolu, he went to Moscow for security reasons. He studied Economics and Sociology at Eastern University in Moscow. He wrote his first free poems in Moscow. When he returned home, he published various magazines and published poems in the magazines. After that, life was arrested and exiled. Nazım Hikmet, who also wrote an editorial and editorial book in the name of Orhan Selim in the newspapers of the Evening, Last Post, Tan, remained in a very difficult situation because he was sick after years of prison in Turkey and did not make a regular income. The poet, who was afraid of being killed, went to Russia again with a Romania-flagged ship. Nazim Hikmet died in Moscow on June 3, 1963.
