Hello Steemit! My name is Mike Turner and I truly believe that the idea behind this site is ahead of its time, and that the future economy will be based more on creative content and ideas than any physically produced goods. Beyond that, and more importantly, the coming together of people across the world to earnestly and critically discuss ideas that is allowed for by the internet is going to lead to a new enlightenment, and an explosion of thinking of every kind. The discussions that we have are going to shape reality, and the future.

The democratization of media that technology has brought us has big implications for a natural rebalancing of the power structure of the world that is more just. That we can control the cultural and political narratives without the backing of corporate advertisers or special interests means, I think, that we will see a massive increase in the quality and honesty of media.

I personally am trying to contribute my own content in hopes of creating a community that can be a part of this new enlightenment that I see on the horizon. I really believe that we can change the world just by talking and listening. I intend to bring you information and ideas that will make you question the true nature of reality, open you up to exploring new concepts, and show you a way of living that is hopefully more modest, simple, and honest in the ways that matter,
