UFC 3 Beta

Watch me try to build up my Ultimate Fighter and win some online fights! I'm currently 1-0 online and 5-1 in UT with my customer fighter. I'm not sure if this is streaming in 4K, but believe me I want to be! I've setup everything I know to setup, just not sure if Twitch can handle it. If not, next time I'll stream on YouTube.

UFC 3 is completely different from last years version UFC 2. About the only thing that remains the same is the submission area, thankfully. It was hard enough to figure out the first time around. But to upper-cut this year, you must press 2 buttons at once X+A or Y+B. It takes some getting used to.

Also changed up is defending. To defend high you now hold RT (which was low last year) and to blow low you hold RT+LT. Once I got the hang of it I actually prefer it over the previous method.

The biggest change I've noticed is in distance. You better be good at judging distance this year or you will pay dearly. To help you move inside is the new Right Stick movement. As you move around with Left Stick you can use RS to bob and weave while you move. Not only does this allow you to dodge punches effectively, but you can also get an angle on your opponent and land some good shots.

This years version is also a lot more taxing on your hands! Mine are worn out after 10 fights and I need a break, but I've also been playing guitar for a few hours. =)

Conclusion

Rating : 4 Drop Kicks out of 5.
Pros : Looks fantastic! Way more realistic and fun than UFC 2. The flash KO's are a great addition!
Cons : All new stuff to learn. Way more tiring to play.
