Enjoying Nature In Akwenko
Akwenko is a village in Ako Subdivision, Donga Mantung Division, North West Region of Cameroon.
In the morning after resting a bit at Nkambe, I decided to take a tour into one of the villages in the Division.

Akwenko is one of the viilages that make up the Ako sub Division which shares the boundry with Nigeria. The landscape is hilly and the climate favours the cultivation of crops like cocoa and palms. The people are0 callefd the Njari people and are still practicing ancien tradition. They bury people in tombs and each family has its own tomb that can take up to 10 family members. They live mostly with natural things especially herbs which makes most of them live a very long and healthy life.

Reaching the village is very challenging as even a motorbike cannot go there with the hilly nature and foot paths which aren't motorable.
Journey Back was really challenging, climbing hills but the tour was wonderful
