What if this will come true? A having a smart mirror as your personal assistant?
Hmm. Anyway, let me share this to you, the MagicMirror, a smart mirror that can be your personal assistant. It is built with Alexa, an interactive AI assistant.
Basically, it is an
open source modular smart mirror platform. With a growing list of installable modules, the MagicMirror allows you to convert your hallway or bathroom mirror into your personal assistant.

We will see screens everywhere. I don;t mind that at all, however, we need to be able to control of we want to see information presented to us. Although I do like the smart mirror a lot, I may not like to have one at home.
Hahaha. I hope this mirror will not be as scary as the mirror in Snow White movie. 🤗🤗

This is a great start through greater innovation in which you will face the mirror together with your phone and you can see weather or it will complement you that will start your day a good one.

I am just stunt to see this hunt, Mirror is the thing we see many times in a day to see how we are looking, now we have a mirror who can be our personal assistance and it can tell us about the weather, and about our health.

Okay, fast forward 24 months (when hopefully Alexa has grown a little more sophisticated). You've stumbled out of bed and into the bathroom. Turn on the light, and stare, bleary-eyed into the mirror.
"Good morning, it's 79 degrees and will be sunny all day. Would you like an overview of the day's news while you brush your teeth?" You pick up the brush and blindly trudt Alaxa to curate the news in a way which fits your world view (she has a lot of power here, actually!).
"Would you like me to order more toothpaste? I could add a new toothbrush to that order for only another $5 - we have a special deal for you today". That's right, this is Alexa...and Amazin - you think they won't ever try to sell you anything?
A quick wash, and (depending on who's reading this) application of make-up, and now, thanks to Alexa's telling you about the new books/movies/games launching today, you're already running 10 minutes late.

I can't wait to get one...seriously, they'll be so cool.
Until we become used to them, of course, and want the latest AI, the new subscription to 'service X' and have to spend ages re-programming them every time there's an update to the software.

Unfortunately this project is just a one man show, and your Web Link goes to the Github page of this open source project.
So, this is not a working product nor can customers purchase this kind of smart mirror in the future.
Great Idea and project, but not really a Steemhunt product to purchase.
Basically yes, but you could also make something like this out of the github files. Because those files contains the codes, instructions on how the mirror was built and look, it is for free.

Very cool smart mirror build in DIY style. This would be a great christmas gift for friends and family since you know them. Probably you need some sort of technical background but still this is a unique smart mirror that nobody else have. Thanks for sharing this unique project!
I would really love to also have this kind of a mirror at home. :)
