Time travel is a contrived plot device in which opportunistic and idealistic people go forward or backward in time.

I have a love of this genre, from seeing the movie the Time Machine as a kid. I know we would manage to fuck up our future, as we have done so without a time machine already. So many of us have regrets from past mistakes, so a time machine looks very appealing.

If a time machine fell into the wrong hands, we would be in big trouble.

I would use my time machine to go back to 2009 and buy 10,000 BTC. Then I could finance the building of the machine.

Any mistakes we make in the past come back to haunt us. Our present will be out past, so think before you act and you won't need a time machine at all. No regrets.
