WBC Summit: Akaiito insides

in #ico6 years ago

On Saturday 27.01.2018, was happening World Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Summit (WBC Summit). Summit took place in Moscow. On the event have been participating 30 speakers from different countries and approximately 500–700 listeners.

Sergey Glaziev from Presidential Executive Office was opening the event and was sharing quite loyal opinion about cryptocurrency world existence by itself and its influence on global and Russian economy in particular. He announced, that Russian Federation sees potential in using blockchain system in governmental structures, because it can help to decrease corruption by creating better transparency. He mentioned as well that blockchain can be very helpful in medical sector. He has commented, that Russian Federation government is ready to cooperate with crypto community. Russian Federation government is currently reviewing crypto currency legislation question and its status in economical scale. By Sergey’s words government is ready for dialogue with crypto community. If to conclude his speech, can say that there have been very promising announcements for crypto world, but of course, we shall better wait for the outcome in actions. Hopefully, Russian Federation is truly seeing benefits in cryptocurrency and will implement it into country life as natural part of it, but without changing the main principles of blockchain, such as decentralization, P2P model etc.

If to move forward to summit speakers, then next person, who Akaiito team would love to mention was: Vladislav Martynov from Ethereum Centre of Competence — very interesting and outstanding personality. Vladislav was mentioning as very positive movement: change in Belarus law, which happened lately (Belarus legalized cryptocurrencies and ICO’s). Vladislav has expressed hopes, that Russian Federation and other countries will soon follow Belarus steps. Akaiito founder have had short conversation with Vladislav regarding safety and anonymity within trading on online markets. Vladislav’s opinion was, that for the good people, who doesn’t mean anything bad to do, during P2P trading process ID identification cannot be a problem. He said, that crypto community is becoming old enough to be able to analyse own risks and regulate itself, so at some point crypto community members will probably come up with the idea how community will exist in the future and which golden middle level of self-identification will be the best.

On the summit as well participated representatives from lawyers. One of the lawyers has expressed opinion, which Akaiito team is fully supporting, that ICO’s should feel and have full responsibility in front of their investors. Teams launching ICOs should understand, that investments are not only opening opportunities for development, but also bringing responsibility for development.

In general, we can conclude, that crypto community in Russian Federation is developing and having the potential for rapid grow. We have been having discussions with many enthusiasts from crypto world and with other companies working on crypto field. We can gladly confirm, that we heard really good feedback regarding Akaiito project overally and in particular about Akaiito idea of crypto currency realization in every day life. We will continue dialogues with some of the companies to share opinions and to have in the future long-term cooperation.
