FISHING WITH DAD.

These photos were captured at Tweed Heads, New South Wales, Australia. My family were staying at their regular caravan park where water activities are enjoyed by families throughout the year. It is a great environment for holiday makers as there is so much to do. A dad and his two sons were trying their luck at a spot of fishing.
I don't know if they caught any fish but I'm sure they enjoyed the experience.
As were watching them two dolphins swam in to the estuary to say hello but unfortunately I didn't get any photos as the kids got so excited, they swam out to them and scared them off.

This is the memory that they can keep forever! Catching a fish would be the cherry on top, but they seemed to have fun, so it is all good!

Dolphins are great, look fantastic and are a wild creature that must be treated with respect. They can be pretty nasty if they feel threatened, but great to hear that you saw some.
You have a keen eye @andyfishman I think you would make a great detective.......in between your gardening, fishing and steeming. I didn't know dolphins can get nasty but, I daresay if they feel threatened what else are they going to do? The kids were too enthusiastic and they took off, but it was lovely seeing them move amongst people swimming.
