Daily Photography Contest: Rainbow Lorikeets.
This is my entry for Animal Photography Contest curated and sponsored by @juliank and @photocontests.
Rainbow Lorikeets are unmistakable with their vivid colours and distinctive high-pitched sounds. Both sexes are alike with their blue heads and bellies, their bright green wings and their blended yellow orange breasts.
They live in coastal regions of north and eastern Australia with a local population in Perth, in Western Australia. The rainbow lorikeets love a wide range of treed habitats, woodlands and rainforests and many urban areas as well.
They are largely sedentary birds with a nomadic tendency to seek flowering or fruiting plants.

Birds have beautifully enhanced the earth. Their wings flown into the sky. Voice, colorful colors are very nice to see their beautiful beautiful murals depicting them in this way.

These are gorgeous. I've always wanted to handle a bird like this....to have it perch on my shoulder (without pooping of course) I find them extremely inviting - probably because of their colors. Nicely done :)
Thank you @countrygirl These guys are very friendly and are used to people as they live at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Visitors are enjoying feeding them in these photos.
