CHEEKY PARROT!
This is my entry for Thursday's #colorfulphotography sponsored by @juliank
This beautiful but cheeky parrot allowed me to get quite close to him as I took his photo. He turned out to be quite the extrovert.
He was very interested in showing me where he lived and how clever he was at hopping in and out of his home.
So he made sure I was giving him my full attention as he looked at me out of the corner of his eye. He pushed open the wooden flap at the entrance of his house and in he went.
He was confident that I was still watching and then disappeared completely for a couple of seconds.
And before I could blink, he was out again and gave me a repeat performance........again and again.
I found him extremely entertaining as well as very handsome with his vibrant colourful feathers.

I love watching the various parrots around here, though don't see as many as we used to.
So true @andyfishman I could watch them for ages. I'm sure our extreme weather plays a big part in where our fabulous birdlife lives these days with their need to survive. Are you bracing for our extreme heat wave expected this week ?
