The courageous astronaut Lily was standing on the edge of the unknown. The computer picture with the designation "999" attracted her because of its ethereal shimmer in the dimly illuminated control room. It was a gateway into a realm that was steeped in secrecy and intrigue and was only spoken of at the furthest reaches of the cosmos.
Her spaceship was sucked up by a whirling vortex as soon as she opened the gateway. As she came out the other side, time and space appeared to be distorted. The bizarre scene in front of her defied all sense and logic. The falling leaves of the trees glistened with a captivating mix of hues as they drifted freely. Ethereal beings made of pure energy played in the air as rivers of energy poured upward refusing the force of gravity.
In Lily's hand was a digital picture that pulsed, leading her closer into this mysterious location. While she was in awe of the wonders around her, the terrible awareness that she became surrounded by others dawned on her.
Unsettling silhouettes were created by the dancing shadows in the distance on the alien setting. Who else may be captivated to this strange world's mysterious attraction and what mysteries might be hiding inside it? What was the portal's purpose in bringing her here, and what could she learn as she traveled farther into "999"?
A unexpected spike of static cut through Lily's communication system as she pondered these issues. There was a mysterious message that had a sinister undertone. An individual or thing was keeping an eye on her while she was here. A tense feeling of suspense had replaced the exhilaration of discovery. In "999" what ancient energies had she reawakened, and what ominous forces were now keeping an eye on her every move?
Mysterious Question:
What followed was? How can Lily handle the terrifying shadow that appeared to be watching her? What sinister mysteries will she unearth in this fantastical world? What part will the mysterious signal play in her developing journey as science fiction and thriller collide?
