Resident Evil 3 Remake Demo Top Five Things to Know

in #games4 years ago

Capcom is working hard to keep Resident Evil 3 Remake on schedule. That is great news for gamers right now, a time we need some stability. Much like the Resident Evil 2 Remake demo, there are tons of little things gamers are finding. I decided to pull together the top five things you need to know.

Release date – April 3rd, 2020

Capcom is currently planning on releasing Resident Evil 3 in early April. As of this writing that is not very far away. We know the main enemy this time, at least in the demo, is Nemesis and that you are going to be in control of Jill Valentine. We also know that gamers can play Resident Evil 3 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam for PC’s. The demo is available on Steam right now (it is small too, about seven gigs) as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (unknown file size).

Jill Velentine/Nemesis have a new look

It is no secret that the original design of Jill Valentine was skewed towards teens and males in general. The Resident Evil 3 Remake demo shows off a new look for Valentine. This time her look is a lot more functionality over sex appeal.

Same for the Nemesis who is now very much more foreboding and just evil looking. I mean, seriously, he is obviously one bad character to be facing off against. The team over at Tech Raptor go into more detail on this but be warned, there are some spoilers involved.

You can open the safe in the Resident Evil 3 Remake Demo

What would a Resident Evil game be without some secrets in it? One is the safe that you will find around the shopping district in the demo. I won’t spoil how to open it, just know it is something you can indeed do. If you want the full details head over to We Got This Covered and follow their spoiler ridden guide.

For those that want to figure it out on your own, it is possible in the demo.

Resident Evil 3 is scary as hell

What is a survival horror game without some scares? Capcom knows how to make this genre sing with screams. The Nemesis is disgustingly evil looking. The surroundings are dark, dank, and give you the feeling something is just out of sight. Something that wants you dead.

Culture of Gaming goes a little further into the fear details for those that want some spoilers.

I must give it to hackers, those people sure put in the extra effort for the rest of us to enjoy. Most of the time this is stuff we weren’t supposed to know about, making it that much cooler to know about it.

The Resident Evil 3 Remake demo apparently features information on new game modes (Assist, Normal, Hard, and Super Hard), New Game+. Allegedly the second playthrough will feature new content and challenges.

As usual, head over to Tech Raptor for spoilers on just what is hidden in the files of Resident Evil 3 Remake.
