[Blog] What a cube inspires.
I made dis. From a cube. Under 15 min.
I was testing out sculping in Blender/Bforartist. It has been extremely unstable, and I found out why.
Sculpting in Blender/Bforartists # 1
Make your Dynatopo Constant Detail size to +10.0 or else you may be prone to crashing (~3.0 or less is not a fun one to use).
Sculpting in Blender/Bforartists # 2
Symmetrize the Dynatopo topology periodically. Turn off live Symmetry/Lock's where possible.
Sculpting in Blender/Bforartists # 3
Detail fill your model before you begin, sometimes sculpting on a new low poly mesh will crash.
*This I learnt the hard way, but now it's better. *
Turned out really nice!
Thanks buddy! I am thinking to maybe do a quick sculpt every day for a while. Might be fun and good practice. They don't take too long.
Did you use bleders sculpting brushes, or something else?
Yehp.
Just the defaults.
