Mel's The Original Diner makes good breakfast
One of the best breakfast places after a long night out on the town. They have the best eggs, hashbrowns and toast. And it's a great price. Mostly located in Sacramento, California, as well as Reno, Nevada. Old school classic joint. They even have the jukebox playing when y'all walk in and take a seat.
Hard for me to pay for breakfast these days.
The one in San Francisco is a classic. Could be the original?
Linguica, sourdough toast and eggs. Sounds good to me.
English muffins are great and there is something about the butter.
Mel's always packed on a Sunday morning before and after church.
Excellent breakfast specials everyday of the week.
Biscuits and gravy are pretty good at Mel's. Side of toast.
Need to expand and try some other things on the menu.
