Cornerstone

Original photo, no filter. Photos like these are hard to take in the moment just because it takes a lot of preparation and focus. If you don't have the zoom on while holding the camera extremely still then the result wouldn't be like what you're seeing here. The way it's shot, the background is more blurry than normal because the focus is on making the stems and flowers come to life. I feel like I've done a good job with that and that's why I think I'll be posting more similar looking shots in the short term future. I have a handful of them in my picture folder but have been hesitant to post just because I didn't know what they would look like on screen until I opened them in the paint program and made a few simple crops. Learning different tricks I can use when the elements start to change. Learning things in the summer that will stay with me through the fall and winter. I've been looking forward to the seasons changing, taking photos different styles.
