Don't Upvote Within First 15 Minutes of your Post!
I don't hear many people talking about this but if you didn't know, self upvotes sent within the first 15 minutes are not counted towards the post and get sent back to the rewards pool to be redistributed.

In HF20 a self-upvote within the first fifteen minutes will still be credited to the author of the post it is the additional curation rewards as a penalty from other voters inside the early window that were given to the author in HF19 that will now be returned to the reward pool. So it is a small percentage difference from before.
so I should vote for myself within 15 minutes or it doesn't matter?
It doesn't matter to your payout but takes money from your early curators.

Yeah, because of all the RC issues, people haven't been mentioning this too much—but it's a pretty big change. Only reason to vote before 15 would be to "snipe" a spot in the curation trail, but I'd probably only do that from 9 minutes onward.
Then again I'm one of those weird people that doesn't like to autovote much. For people that autovote probably just set it at 13-15 mins. :-)
@trevonjb, Yes, i know about it but good to see that you writing this post for the Knowledge Transfer and people who are missing this update they can hold the clarity towards how they act in this CHANGED Economy.
And from now every step will be count so everyone have to be vigilant while they are acting because, sometimes people can do unnecessary things but now we are moved into the Resource Economy and every action will cost some Resource Credits.

It's good information, and in fact I did it recently haha :D, but I'll keep it in mind for the next one since I'm new.
The upvote time thing is dumb imho.
Makes zero sense.
I just checked Steem Supply (thanks for showing me that), and after doing my usual interaction in the community, now that it is fair, I only wasted 6% of my credits... So you were right that it won't affect many people, not many will complain.
