Mossberg .22 Model 25

in #guns8 years ago

As part of my collection I own a Mossberg .22 Model 25 bolt action rifle which I believe was manufactured either 1935 or 1936 which makes this rifle over 80 years old.

According to research this gun could go for between $100 to $150 but for me this is a piece of history that I can hand down to my kids and it can be passed on for generations to come.

I don’t shoot this gun in IPSC competitions, but I use it a lot for leisure when I am at the range to knock down steel plates from a distance and I must say it is a solid and accurate rifle.

Ammunition is cheap and therefore its not very high maintenance to own a .22. This rifle is also kid friendly so If you are someone that likes to pass down teachings to kids on firearms then this is extremely safe to do so under supervision because it has no recoil and is easy to use.

If you are a gun owner or someone that loves firearms then please follow me for more content.

I love .22 rifles. I have some, but I want more. On my gun buying wish list is a tack driving vintage classic of some kind, something I can put a great scope on to hunt squirrels and other small game. Don't know quite what that would be, but it is going to be lots of fun deciding. Good shooting!

You can never have enough firearms and you will always want more...it's human nature! just keep at it and enjoy every moment. :-)

I agree. How many guns do I need? Well, just one more...Any idea which .22 rifle I should buy?
