#STEEMLORDS - Lord Percival gets captured in 'Wurstkrautenland' - Will he escape and get to MIDDLESTEEM?

His escape from Vikindinavia with the Owl of the Ragnarok and The Crimson Warrior had given Lord Percival a sense of invincibility.

Hubris is a dangerous thing and people rarely think strategically when so full of themselves. Was this lead to the 'Magnificent One's' downfall?
As they flew east Lord Percival and Crimson Warrior discussed the strategy going forward.

"Where are we going now my Lord?" asked Crimson.
"I have recieved a telepathic message from AncientMystique informing me of SirKnight's instructions, we are to make our way east, cross the Belgaer Sea and head to Middlesteem." he continued.
"From there we head Northeast to the Island of Himling."
"To what end? questioned Crimson.
"Buggered if I know, SirKnight is a man of great courage and fortitude but a bit mad methinks. However it is our quest and we must follow the instruction."
"Why don't you just take me away to a to tropical island and forget all this STEEMLORDS nonsense?" begged Crimson.
"Because I am Sir Percival the Magnificent, I will find Excalibur and rule the Steem!" he brayed.
Bloody men, thought Crimson.

The two flew on but the strain of carrying two people wearing armour was taking its toll on Tremendhorse. Lord Percival took the decision to stop and rest his mighty steed in the small Principallity of 'Wurstkrautenland' just west of Germania.

They looked for a place to land and rest Tremendhorse and maybe get a meal and some rest themselves.
"Over there!" shouted Crimson, pointing to an imposing fortress.
"Yes, that'll work." said Lord Percival.

As they descended the fortress came into view, it was magnificent castle.

They landed in the grounds of the Castle and Sir Percival asked Crimson to take Tremendhorse to the river nearby to drink his fill.
"I'm just nipping off for a slash." he shouted. "It's hard as hell trying to get your 'old chap' out of this bloody codpiece."

Lord Percival slipped off behind a large tree to relieve himself, but then all of a sudden everything went dark.

Ve have vays of making you talk.....

"Urrrgggh" Lord Percival groaned.

Lord Percival felt awful, his head hurt, he couldn't seem to move his arms, his back ached, it was like he'd felt the first time he'd drank scrumpy cider. He tried to focus but his eyes didn't seem to working properly. He could just about work out he was in some sort of dungeon.

"Oh god, where am I?" he said quietly to himself.
"Aha! You are avake." said a heavily accented voice.
"I vondered ven you vould vake up." the voice continued.
"Who the hell are you?" demanded Lord Percival. "And where am I?"

Out of the shadows stepped a man Lord Percival recognised straight away, it was the notorious bounty hunter Baron von SausageMunchen.

"Oh no, what the hell do you think you're my doing Von SausageSucker? I'll have your head on a pike for this act of despicable treachery you, you....Teutonic git!" hissed Lord Percival.
Baron von SausageMunchen stepped forward and slapped Lord Percival across the face with a heavy gauntleted hand.
"You know wery vell it's not SausageSucker you English Sweinhund." said the Baron.

It was at this point Lord Percival realised the extent of his predicament, for he had just realised the reason he couldn't move his arms was because he was in some kind of mediaeval torture box.

"Alright SausageMuncher, what do you want?" demanded Lord Percival.
"I vant nussing from you Lord Percival, I vill be very vell revarded by Loki ven he gets here."
"Oh Crap." was all he could say.
"Yes, you are a vanted man and the revard is wery large." The Baron crowed.

Out of the corner of his eye Lord Percival noticed a shadow appear in doorway. It was Crimson warrior. The Baron and his men weren't aware of her presence in the Principality with Lord Percival as his reputation for ditching his conquests and moving on to the next had given them the assumption he was alone. A big mistake on their part.

"Shall I kill him now?" said Crimson from behind SausageMunchen.
"Vhat is dis?" was all the Baron managed to say before Crimson run him through with her sword.

"Hmm his blood is like wine to me." she said licking the blade.

"Bloody hell Crimson, you don't mess about do you!" said Lord Percival "I wouldn't have minded asking him a few questions before you killed him, oh well. Get me out of this thing will you."
"He messed with my man, there is only one punishment for that." she said.
"Fair enough." was all he could say.

Crimson warrior released Lord Percival and made their way out of the castle and to where Tremendhorse was tethered. Lord Percival was concerned, how would he move on to the next romantic episode with this clearly psychotic wench in tow. He would have to come with an extremely cunning plan otherwise he may suffer the same fate as Baron von SausageMunchen.

The two intrepid travelers mounted Tremendhorse and took off into the skies of Wurstkrautenland.

"Are we going to Crete?" asked Crimson.
"No we have lost too much time, I fear if we head there now we won't make it to the rallying point in time." replied Lord Percival.
"But we need something from there to offer SirKnight in order to continue the quest." Crimson explained.
Lord Percival thought about it for a minute.
"I have the 'Owl of the Ragnarok' in my pants, it was originally from Crete so we can use that."
"Brilliant." said Crimson "Then let's go straight to the Island of Himling?"

They flew for many days and nights only stopping to feed and water Tremendhorse and for rumpy pumpy of course.
On the 3rd day they saw the place they had been searching for....
The Island of Himling.
