Es ist anders, total anders. Das ist dass, was mich so sehr interessiert an anderen Ländern. Es ist nicht das Hotel, sondern es sind die Menschen, weit abseits von den touristischen Plätzen. Dort findest du, was du nicht für möglich gehalten hast.
Menschen, die so sind wie du und ich. Keine künstliche Freundlichkeit, sondern das Echte und natürliche. Man weiß sofort, ob man hier zu jemanden Zugang hat oder nicht.

Ebenso integriert mich wie die Menschen noch selbst die Dinge herstellen. Wer stellt in Deutschland noch sein Werkzeug selbst her? Es mag vielleicht jemand geben, doch kennen tu ich selbst keinen. Es ist einfach, was es sonst nicht zu sehen gibt. Mich interessiert wie die Dinge hergestellt werden, nicht nur dass es überhaupt von Hand hergestellt wird. Das ist ein großer Unterschied.

Als Besucher aus einem fremden Land ist es die Pflicht, sich selbst respektvoll zu benehmen. Fragen bevor man ein Foto machen möchte. Sich mit den Menschen zu unterhalten und ihnen zu zuhören....
Es ist eine Zeitreise, welche vielleicht in ein paar Jahren nicht mehr möglich ist.

It's different, totally different. That's what makes me so interested in other countries. It's not the hotel, it's the people, far away from the tourist places. There you will find what you never thought possible.
People who are like you and me. No artificial kindness, but the real and natural. You know immediately whether you have access to someone here or not.

I'm as much a part of it as people still make things for themselves. Who in Germany still makes their own tools? There might be someone, but I don't know anyone myself. It is simple, what there is not to see otherwise. I am interested in how things are made, not only that it is made by hand at all. There is a big difference.

As a visitor from a foreign country it is your duty to behave respectfully. Ask questions before you take a picture. To talk to people and listen to them...
It is a journey through time, which might not be possible in a few years.
