A boat for the temple, not for the water. - Ein Boot für den Tempel, nicht für das Wasser

We were quite amazed when on the way we happened to pass a house that was building a small boat just outside the door. At first I thought it was for the children to play in the river or on the beach.

But far from it, because this boat was just built for the temple. There was also a monk next to him, but out of respect we didn't ask him for a photo. Because you don't always have to ask for a photo right away, as soon as you see a monk in an orange robe. Otherwise the prejudice is confirmed more and more what is thought about tourists.

Wir waren recht erstaunt, als auf dem Weg wir zufällig an einem Haus vorbei gekommen sind, die gerade vor der Türe ein kleines Boot bauen. Zuerst dachte ich, es wäre für die Kinder zum spielen, im Fluss oder am Strand.

Doch weit gefehlt, denn dieses Boot wurde gerade für den Tempel gebaut. Es stand auch ein Mönch neben bei, doch aus Respekt haben wir ihn nicht nach einem Foto gefragt. Denn man muss nicht immer gleich nach einem Foto fragen, kaum sieht man einen Mönch in einem orangen Gewand. Das Vorurteil wird sonst immer mehr bestätigt, was über Touristen gedacht wird.
