The @blocktrades World Cup | My selections
Hello Steemian Friends,
It's finally Friday! Which also happens to be a day off for both of us. We're going to do a bit of exploring in our local area a little later today, but before that....we had to write this post. Why? Well, Sam is a massive football fan as you can tell from yesterday's post. We noticed this morning that @travelgirl did a post in her native language, but it wasn't the 2000 SBD that caught our attention (okay, maybe it did), but the picture of the Russia World Cup (thank god, otherwise we might have missed this contest). Yes, it's around two weeks until the start of the 2018 World Cup in Russia. We're talking football (soccer) here, not speed skating or floor hockey (not that we have anything against those sports). It seems like @blocktrades with the organisation of @acidyo and @anomadsoul have created a sweepstakes for the World Cup Steemit style. We encourage you all to join, even if you know nothing about football, just predicting games you might win a share of that 2,000 SBDs!

Nice challenge! I dont think I could tell who is better than who, but I definitely look forward to watching some of the games :) Do you have any favorites in mind at the moment?
Give it a go! Check out a few predictions and then you can kinda gather which teams are favourite to win certain games. You never know!
We're routing for England (as we're English), Portugal (due to Becca's upbringing from there, although she doesn't really watch football) and any of the underdogs - we like to see an upset. :D

That's great that you are doing what you love and that sounds exciting - being a qualified massage therapist and running your own business. Hard work, we can imagine, but worth every minute.
Really hope so! It just feels so good to get out of the corporate world so that in itself for me makes it worth it :)
