But Dubai is not only this, even the area of ​​the old city, characterized by the typical Arab souks full of gold, spices and fabrics, always draw the attention of tourists and make it a destination visited by many people throughout the year.
Although so famous, the city is not the capital of the Emirs, which is instead another beautiful city: Abu Dhabi.
However, it does represent the country's economic and commercial development and growth over the last 25-30 years.

Città situata negli Emirati Arabi Uniti, nella penisola araba, affascina ormai tutto il mondo per le sue megalitiche costruzioni ultramoderne, grattacieli mozzafiato e strade a 6 corsie per ogni lato di marcia.
Ma Dubai non è solo questo, anche l'area della vecchia città, caratterizzata dai tipici souk arabi pieni di oro, spezie e tessuti, richiamano da sempre l'attenzione dei turisti e la rendono una meta visitata da tantissime persone tutto l' anno.
Sebbene così famosa, la città non è la capitale degli Emiri, che è invece un'altra splendida città: Abu Dhabi.
Ad ogni modo però, essa rappresenta lo sviluppo e la crescita economico/commerciale del paese degli ultimi 25-30 anni.

There are around € 400/450 for a return flight booked about 90 days before.
Alternatively you can opt for low cost or cheaper airlines, which include 1 or 2 stopovers, such as Turkish Airlines or Wizz Air flying at around € 300, but be careful where you land, you may be a long way from your hotel and major attractions of the city.
This is because they almost never use the international airport located in the vicinity of the center, but often much more distant local airports.

Dubai si può raggiungere dall' Italia con un volo Emirates, della durata di circa 6 ore, che se prenotato per tempo, non è particolarmente caro in proporzione alla destinazione.
Ci vanno circa 400/450€ per un volo andata e ritorno prenotato circa 90 giorni prima.
In alternativa si può optare per compagnie low cost o più economiche, che prevedono 1 o 2 scali, quali Turkish Airlines o Wizz Air che volano con circa 300€, ma occhio a dove atterrate, potreste essere parecchio distanti dal vostro albergo e dalle maggiori attrazioni della città.
Questo perché quasi mai utilizzano l'aeroporto internazionale situato nelle vicinanze del centro, ma spesso aeroporti locali molto più distanti.

If instead you go in a different period you can find temperatures even above 40/42 ° C during the day and a lot of humidity, not the ideal conditions for a relaxing trip.

Vista la zona a ridosso del deserto, il periodo migliore per andare a visitare la città, va da novembre a marzo/aprile dove il clima secco rende piacevole il soggiorno.
Temperature medie di giorno intorno ai 30/31°C che arrivano a 23/24°C la sera. Per me i gradi giusti(adoro il caldo).
Se invece andate in un periodo diverso potrete trovare temperature anche sopra i 40/42°C di giorno e molta umidità, non le condizioni ideali per una gita rilassante.

First of all we must say one fundamental thing: Dubai is immense and it is not possible to walk around. Suffice it to say that the city from side to side is about 35 km long.
That being said, where to stay depends on what kind of vacation you want to do.

1- Seaside vacation: if this is the vacation you have chosen I would say that the best solution is to go to Dubai Marina, in the new part of the city. Here resorts and 4/5 star hotels will welcome you in the right way.

Innanzitutto bisogna dire una cosa fondamentale: Dubai è immensa e non è per niente girabile a piedi. Basti pensare che la città da parte a parte è lunga circa 35 km.
Detto questo, dove alloggiare dipende da che tipo di vacanza volete fare.

1- Vacanza Balneare: se questa è la vacanza che avete scelto direi che la soluzione migliore sia quella di andare a Dubai Marina, nella parte nuova della città.
Qui resort e hotel a 4/5 stelle sapranno accogliervi nel modo giusto.

2 - Tourist Holiday: if instead you opt for this option I would say that the best area is the one just outside the "old-city" towards the new area so you can be relative close to the major attractions of the city.

2 - Vacanza Turistica: se invece optate per questa opzione direi che l'area migliore sia quella poco fuori la "old-city" verso la zona nuova così potete essere relative vicini alle maggiori attrazioni della città.

As mentioned earlier, the city is huge so I recommend 2 ways to get around.
1- The Metro: comfortable, efficient, punctual and has the distinction of being driverless. Excellent for costs, it is cheap and very touristy because it is elevated and allows you to see the landscape well.
2- Taxi: they are reliable and cheap, you can travel several kilometers by paying a few euros. Excellent solution if you are out of the center.

Come già detto in precedenza, la città è enorme pertanto consiglio 2 modi per spostarsi.
1- La Metro: comoda, efficente, puntuale ed ha la particolarità di essere senza conducente. Ottima per i costi, è economica ed è molto turistica poiché sopraelevata e permette di vedere bene il paesaggio.
2- Taxi: sono affidabili ed economici, si possono percorrere diversi chilometri pagando qualche euro. Ottima soluzione se siete fuori dal centro.
