Travelgirl's Day 37 of Semi Lockdown in Sydney - Finding New Skills ~

Hi Everyone,

During this pandemic, a lot of people I know or have read online have found a new hidden talent they had all the time or maybe picked up a new skill. Baby M has been using our phones a lot to take videos and pictures and recently have religiously been taking pictures in our bed when he wakes up (he would run in from his room to our bed as he knows where we keep our phones). He would run in and just find my phone and unlock it himself - he knows our passcodes too. He has already mastered FaceTime and knows the flip screen feature and now he is going to a new level.

Rather than taking pictures normally, he would use other features. Today he tried their black and white mode. His attempt is to take a picture of himself with half his face and make him hide like a ninja. Not sure where he got that idea from but that was his take on it. A few shots and angles I think he got it right and was happy with his shot. For a 3-year-old, it’s pretty interesting what is going through his mind. Maybe he has an eye for photos and angles I am not sure but he sure has been taking some interest.

For me personally, I have definitely become a beginner farmer. I have been reading up on growing veggies all Easter and can see some of the results already. I normally will grow shallots in water but found out there are heaps of veggies scrap could be grown from water as well. One of them is lettuce and bok choi. Check out my experiment growing the ends/scraps from the veggies. It's doing so well I will probably be able to have enough for another noodle meal. I love how we can use the leftovers I normally have in the kitchen to grow more things. It’s an eye-opener for me and I’m learning more and more each week as the plants grow or die off.
