Food Sharing #108 - Viet @ Chippendale, NSW

Hi Everyone,

We heard about the new eat street in Chippendale so decided to give it a go and see what there is to eat. After checking out some restaurants, we ended up at Viet which serves some Vietnamese traditional dishes and street food.

Let’s have a look at parts of the menu first.

There are lots to choose from but I really wanted a Pho as it was a really cold evening. So we ended up order a beef curry, entree platter for 2 (it was huge!) and a pho.

The food was delicious! The curry was just right in taste when mixed with rice. The entree platter had a bit of everything on the menu and was very substantial and the pho especially the broth was just right. It didn’t feel like they put in msg in the soup so I wasn’t too thirsty after the meal. The only thing that I would say about this restaurant is it is not very big so if you have a big group, you probably need to book ahead of time. Price was is also a bit on the pricy side especially for the area and the cuisine but I guess the servings were pretty substantial it evens out.
