Perspective cube, sphere, cone, pyramid in graphite pencil

I am a novice draftsman or I try anyway, I draw all days and wanted to share with you this drawing. It is very important if you want to be able to draw well you know the basics well. The posture, thrust on your pencil so that you are good know the difference between your graphite pencils.

Pencils can be used for all kinds of drawings, in all positions and on many surfaces. They are cheap, erasable, available in various colors, easy to sharpen with sharpener or knife and child-friendly.

But which pencils should I use now?

Soft pencils have the letter B and are more versatile in applying texture and then show hard pencils, running from B (or 1B), 2B, 3B to 9B, the softest pencil. HB is a mixture of hard and soft and is often used in schools.
For artists, the soft pencils are ideal for applying texture, tone, shading or just a simple line depth. The whole soft pencils can be used for larger surfaces.

Hard pencils have the letter H and depending on the hardness there is a number, running from H (or 1H), 2H, 3H to 9H, the hardest pencil.
For designers, architects and technical artists these pencils are very suitable, for example to draw perspective lines or to make precise construction drawings. Yet you can draw expressively with hard pencils. You do this by crosswise shading, which creates dark and lighter surfaces.

for this drawing I used 3 graphite pencil 2H, HB and 2B and a kneaded eraser.
