Thanks, @pixresteemer! 💜 📷
That little chipmunk is sooo cute. I want him. I did a study on those guys back at OU. They are smart clever little creatures that have amazing memories to include the ability to transitively infer value of this or that. We had to exclude one tho because my instructor sucked him up in the vacuum. He lived and I kept him for months as a pet
You are more than welcome to have as many of these little creatures as you want, Steven! They are smart, adorable, and have taken over our yard! 😜
I could have published that study way back in 96. Transitive inference and cognitive mapping in least chipmunks. It basically proved they can determine which bush or seed cache had more value over another and changing the location didn't matter at all as the are excellent at cognitive mapping. They are quite capable of counting. Cache A may have more seeds nut once they're gone they're gone but cache B has less seeds but gets replenished by the seed gods so they associated it as having more value. We did the same with rats and they are stupid
Tip!
Awww I still think I have not joined correctly.. lol. Anyway, I love your photography so much. ♥ It seems like such a beautiful place where you live. Seems so peaceful!
Thanks for the thought anyway, @paintingangels. I'll be sure to send you that post via DM when it's done, but in the meantime, go ahead and ask me any questions.
Oh, and this post might help you out - https://steemit.com/steemit/@tipu/tipu-quick-guide
Also, @cardboard (the wicked cool dude behind @tipu) is very good at helping people out, if you want to shout
Oh, and thanks for the compliment. Yes, we are spoiled by the place we get to live - you'd never know, standing in the yard, that we're so close to "civilization" - LOL!
Wow those pictures are incredible! The one with the chipmunk and the first one of the forest are my favorite :)
Thank you so much, @tripswithtam! Funny thing - that first forest picture was taken at the foot of our driveway. We're in the middle of nowhere, but two seconds from "civilization."
That sounds like the dream!!
It truly is. 😊
Wow. This pictures are incredible. You are sure a good photographer!
Much appreciated, @kweenbrand!

Thank you so much, @xramonahx!
Perfect, beautiful photos! And so many cute animals, you have a good eye to spot them and then portray them so well!
Thank you so much, @shinyforest! The wildlife around here really does spoil me!
