One of those trees obscuring the moon looks like oak and the other one is a little less easily to tell, maybe elm or poplar.
Hmmm, I'll have to take a closer look at the trees in the daylight, @abitcoinskeptic. I know for sure we have pine, hickory, and oak on the property, but not certain about the elm or poplar.
Ah, the moon... I love it when you do the closeup! I need a better camera :P
Thanks, @joelai! I have to say, I never get tired of doing the closeup - I'm still amazed at how well my mid-range camera does with it. Sending good camera buying vibes your way! 😊
Oh the Hunter's moon did put on a spectacular show!
Love the variations in the shots and great that you have kind of a maple leaf shaped silhouettes that look marvelous highlighted by the moon!
Awesome closeup shooting so you can see the craters!
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks in return for your awesome reply, @porters! I tend to get a little carried away with how many shots I take, so I appreciate your encouragement. Hope you're having an amazing week! 😊
so you're taking pictures like a hunter as well. You found location that it seems you're hiding. In our country we don't have that story about why it was called "hunter's full moon."

LOL! Great way to describe it, @mrnightmare89 - I was definitely a hunter, and these captures are the trophies from my hunt. Thanks for dropping by! 😊
