As we all know that most men tend to be overprotective of their daughters due to the fact that, with a daughter, there's a higher risk of sexual harassment or assault than with a son.

Some fathers, are however overtly protective about daughters and this comes down to sexual immoralities. This often makes them have a feeling of discomfort and insecurity when they either spot their daughters flocking with a male friend or when having a one-on-one discussion.

Below are the ways overprotective fathers normally react when they don't want the male gender around their daughters.

1. They embarrass you

The only thing that will make some fathers welcome you into their home is when you are ready to discuss marriage but anything other than than is embarrassment. Some fathers just can't hide the fact they do not welcome male friends in their home and when they see you, they embarrass you. In some cases, they physically assault the guy.

In a situation when they are seeing you for the first time, they begin to interrogate you about what you have come to see their daughter for. If no reasonable answer is provided, you are embarrassed and walked of the house.

3. They keep listening to your conservation

Some fathers can be very lenient to welcome you into their home probably because you are a class mate to their daughter. But what they do is that they sit at the sitting room pretending to be watching the TV while they are 100% attentive to your discussion. This is to know whether your hands are clean. Lol

In a scenario when you are patiently patiently waiting for the girl in their sitting room, the dad will emerge, sitting quietly opposite you and will engage you in a few questions and answer session just to test your intellectual capability. 5. They threaten you with the police

This can happen if the girl you are visiting is still below the age of consent. Some guys are fond of using young girls for sex gratification but a good father, of course, would want to shield his daughter from being used and hurt by a sex starved guy. The father starts shouting the moment he spots you at the gate. He threatens you with police if you ever come to find his daughter again.

Many father know what they did to girls when they were still young and they know all the tricks and gimmicks they used to get the ladies of their choice. But when they become fathers, they just can't stand the thought that someone else would do the same thing or worse to his little girl.
