St. Michaels Maryland

Visit St. Michaels, Maryland. I did on a random Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised by the harbor town. My roommate wanted to visit her father who lives down the road from this hidden gem. I got dropped off in town about 4 pm. (Warning everything but food closes at 5 pm!)

First Stop! Justine's Ice Cream & Yogurt · 106 N Talbot St, St Michaels, MD · (410) 745-0404

One word: WOW!!!!!! 5 out of 5.

Next I visited the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and got a free map at the a welcome center at 107 S. Talbot Street (across from the Acme). The welcome center has information about the museum and other things to see and do around town.

Hooper Straight Lighthouse

After bumming around I head towards the Blue Crab Coffee House 102 Freemont St, St Michaels, MD 21663. But it was closed :( at 5 pm! So I went across the street to a Tapas Bar.

Lans has Draft and craft Beer, 20 wines by the glass and 40 by the bottle. Tapas menu changes daily. Assortment of imported cheese and meat tray, lamb lollipops and blackened shrimp.

I had some grilled octopus salad and a glass of white wine! 3 out of 5 stars. Shown below. My food was overall expensive and large for a tapas. They also served sushi which was a bit confusing but the food was good.

After my first dinner of the day I met up with my roommate and family at The Crab Claw Restaurant. I had some Cream of Crab soup and split a broiled seafood platter. I was disappointed in my meal. The broiled food was dry and the soup had little crab. 2.5 out 5 stars.
