Proverbs 14:9 - The Wise Woman

in HeartChurch4 years ago

The households of the evil are rightly begging for cleansing, and the households of the righteous are acceptable.

This bible verse has been derived from Aramaic Bible In Plain English

If you can take a closer look at Proverbs chapter 14 from verse 8 to 10, and take a bible study you will understand verse 9 better which talks more about the wise woman:

…8 The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way, but the folly of fools deceives them.
9 Fools mock the making of amends, but goodwill is found among the upright. 10 The heart knows its own bitterness, and no stranger shares in its joy.

The moral lesson of this Bible verse is:

Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favor.
