It All Comes Down to You
The song It All Comes Down to You is about a relationship that's on the rocks. The train symbolizes the relationship that can't get back on track, and the passengers are feeling lied to and naive. Despite the situation, they are still caring for the person they love.
Home Grown
Vegetables are often a complaint of older generations. Growing them in natural growing mediums has a number of benefits including healthy vitamins and minerals. Moreover, there is nothing like the fresh taste of a homegrown vegetable. Unlike store bought vegetables, homegrown vegetables come straight from the soil.
Home Grown's "When It All Comes Down"
Home Grown's sophomore EP is a solid pop punk record that displays the band's maturity. The band's songs are more sophisticated than their earlier work, and they also incorporate more serious themes. The band's "Giving Up" is an excellent example of this, featuring an impossible bass solo by Lohrbach and an indelible chorus of vocals.
Home Grown formed in Orange County, California, in 1994. Before signing to Drive-Thru Records, they released two albums, the most successful of which was a compilation entitled The Kings of Pop. Despite the group's seriousness, they were very fun to listen to and were known for their silly sense of humor. The band's songs revolve around love, girls, and relationships.
The band's sound is reminiscent of ska. Although the band does not have horns on this cd, the music is upbeat and incredibly catchy. The lyrics and melodies are funny and the band's overall sound is solid.
